IT Schools Africa is now The ITSA Digital Trust

ITSA is celebrating 20 years!

Plus the launch of our new Social Value business club.

Leaders in business, education and local government have confirmed that they will be joining us for this celebration, as well as the Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire.
Invitations are still being sent.  Have you received yours?  If not, read on.

Says Geoffrey Newsome, Chief Executive of The ITSA Digital Trust: “ITSA has worked with businesses, educational organisations and councils for 20 years to remove their used IT equipment free of charge, save it from landfill, erase all data, refurbish the devices and provide them (and the skills to use them) to the digitally deprived in Gloucestershire and in schools in Africa.  Thanks to this co-operation we have been able to help 38,000 people in Gloucestershire with IT skills and IT equipment, and to provide an IT education to over 6 million children in Africa.”

“ Our event in November is an opportunity to celebrate this important co-operation over the last 20 years.  It is also a moment to launch our new Social Value business club. The club positions ITSA as a Social Value and Sustainability partner for organisations which want to grow, as well as benefitting more people in the community.  In advance of the official launch of the club we are delighted that 7 organisations have chosen to become Founding Members: Kohler Co, Commercial Group, Gloucestershire College, Cloud Clevr (part of the Rigby Group), Ratcliffes, Techbuyer and the University of Gloucestershire.  Leaders of the Founding Members will be at the event, with some even flying in from overseas.
