Farewell message from our GM, Lucy
“After nine incredible years, I’ve made the difficult decision to step down as General Manager of IT Schools Africa. Not a decision I’ve taken lightly, but as I consider the growth and success of the charity over the last few years, I am proud of where ITSA is today; thanks not least, to the great support we receive and continue to do so, from our partners and donors.
The charity’s ability to touch lives locally; through its Prison Programme, Volunteer Placements, the DigiBus, IT Outreach, and globally; to the thousands of computers it supplies to Africa and the digital skills training it provides for teachers and students, is a fantastic achievement, and testament to the dedication of our committed and hardworking team of staff and volunteers.
I know ITSA will continue to flourish, as it approaches its 20th anniversary of improving access to technology and inspiring brighter lives. The incoming GM, Geoffrey Newsome, takes the helm as the charity enters a new chapter, as The ITSA Digital Trust, and I have
no doubt that success will continue!”
Lucy Pollock, General Manager, IT Schools Africa
