In a world increasingly reliant on technology, individuals who choose to contribute their time and skills to organisations which are dedicated to bridging the digital divide, play a crucial role in shaping a more inclusive future.
Martin (pictured above) and ITSA’s other valued volunteers are the unsung heroes who volunteer for ITSA’s charitable team, giving their time and energy to help students in Africa and people in the UK to get access to IT and skills.
As part of the IT refurbishment team, they meticulously ensure that the donated computers meet required standards before the devices are dispatched to Africa.
Our volunteers find fulfilment and a sense of accomplishment in using their free time to contribute to society. Their message to others is one of encouragement: “Go out and find volunteering opportunities. It is a good thing to do!”
As they continue to dedicate their time and expertise, our volunteers exemplify the transformative power of volunteering, proving that by embracing opportunities to give back, individuals can positively impact communities and contribute to a more equitable and technologically empowered world.
